Description

Anton Coaker lives at Sherberton Farm, one of the ancient tenements on Dartmoor and is the fifth generation of his family to farm here. Several years ago he decided to diversify and started a sawmill on the farm.

The sawmill can supply sawn timber, air dried or fresh sawn. If you have your own round timber on your land we can convert it into sawn goods on site with our mobile mill.

We currently have the following species of air-dries timber in stock, in many sizes:-

To increase our utilisation of home-grown timber reserves, we are now able to offer a mobile saw milling service.

Our self-contained mill can come to your site and convert your trees into valuable timber.

Our highly skilled sawyer, Barry, will be able to advise on the most efficient use for each log, and on the correct storage and seasoning techniques.
