Description A warm welcome awaits you at Burn Cottage which is set in an idyllic, silent spot surrounded by the beauty, peace and tranquillity of Dartmoor. Burn Cottage offers Devon bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation set within the picturesque landscape and rugged open moorland of Dartmoor National Park. Situated midway between the Devon villages of Lydford and Brentor within six acres of wildlife paradise, Burn Cottage provides luxury bed and breakfast accommodation in the main cottage or B&B / Devon self-catering in the privacy of 'The Linhay'. There are three beautiful rooms available in the cottage, all rooms are furnished in Laura Ashley design some are en-suite and some with private bathroom but all have fluffy robes, towelling slippers, hairdryers & Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. Each with spectacular views of Dartmoor or you could alternatively enjoy the extra privacy of B&B in the Linhay. The price includes a full English breakfast or other delicious choices. A welcome pack includes the room keys and front door so you can come and go as you please, there are suggested places to visit and dine, and general information about the cottage. A trug of champagne and chocolates is to be found in each room along with a bowl of fresh fruit and a vase of flowers. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided including hot chocolate and a choice of teas, each room is equipped with a TV & DVD plus a selection of DVD's for your enjoyment. The Linhay  is your own cottage with 1 double/family room separate bathroom and lounge/kitchenette. The lounge has a double and 2 single futons for additional accommodation if necessary. Affording Devon self-catering / B&B facilities in a tranquil setting surrounded by open moorland. The self-catering accommodation comprises of a huge family bedroom, large bathroom with separate shower and roll top bath, and a large living room. This room has a well equipped kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer. It has both dining and comfortable lounge areas. Sleeping accommodation is very adaptable and single beds or a cot may be added to the double bedroom and the 2 single and double futons in the lounge also convert into beds. The self-catering accommodation is centrally heated and the lounge and bedroom have TV/DVD`s. Furnishings are by Laura Ashley and bathrobes, slippers, bath sheets and Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries are available for guests use. All visitors are welcomed with a Trug of Champagne, chocolates, tea/coffee and a freshly baked cake from the Aga.
