Description Church View - Buckland Monachorum Church View is situated within the parish of Buckland Monachorum . Part of the parish falls within the National Park and the other within the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Church View offers luxury with two bedrooms the first a large king with uninterrupted views over open farmland towards the village, the second a small comfortable room with bunk beds again with open views. A traditional farmhouse kitchen is fully equipped including washing machine, cooker, fridge freezer and microwave. Its large  comfortable  bathroom  has a bath with shower. The open plan breakfast/dining room opens into the well-appointed lounge again with uninterrupted views towards open countryside and French  doors open onto a south facing terrace dining barbeque area with enviable views over farmland towards the village and Church. A fantastic place to spend any time of the day or evening relaxing, either eating al fresco or enjoying a glass of wine listening to the church bells (the Church is lit during the evening) To the rear of the property is a private garden with washing line and mature garden. Church View is a supremely peaceful place to stay set just off a sleepy lane with the traditional Dartmoor Pub – The Drake Manor Inn just a stroll away providing top quality food and drink. The Parish has many notable features such as Buckland Abbey the home of Sir Francis Drake now owned by the National Trust, the Garden House, and an old wartime airfield at 'Harrowbeer' Yelverton not forgetting the whole of stunning Dartmoor National Park and Tamar Valley on its doorstep.  Church View is attached to the owners main house (West Park House) which is set in approximately 3 acres of private ground
