Description
Coaching Sessions
Ordinarily clients will attend for a series of 6 sessions. In the same vein that a sports coach would expect to work with a client for a number of sessions before goals could be achieved, it would be naive to expect great achievements if you only signed up for one session.
Six has been found to be the best number of sessions to start with. This allows time to realistically examine where you are now, where you want to get to, and how you are going to get there. The pace is really up to you and how motivated you are to achieving your aims.
An initial assessment of your needs and current situation can take up to an hour and a half. Further sessions normally run weekly but flexibility can be built into your requirements. Once you are on track you can add as many future sessions as required on an individual basis.
Personal Coaching The hourly rate for private individuals is £75.00 per hour.
Business and Executive Coaching
Prices will vary according to the organisational needs. Please phone to discuss your requirements. Small businessess are catered for along with private/public organisations which are normally charged on a daily rate.
What is Personal Performance Coaching ?
"Invest in your future - you really can have the life you want!"
Personal Performance Coaching is about facilitating you to meet your full potential. To enable and empower you to achieve results in all areas of your life. Coaching is the bridge from where you are now to where you want to be. “If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you will keep getting what you’ve always got!”
As your Personal Coach I will focus on you as a whole person in the present moment enabling you to move into a more rewarding future. This differs from counselling, mentorship and consultancy. Coaches believe you have all the answers and inner resources you require and will help facilitate you accordingly to develop and make the changes you need at a pace that is right for you. When you are not working and living according to your values you could experience feelings of:-
Dissatisfaction with your job Feeling stuck in a rut Knowing there must be more to life than this Work/life out of balance Stressed and irritable Feeling like a square peg in a round hole You may wonder what a coach can do for you that you can't do for yourself. Sometimes we just can't see the wood from the trees and whilst we see other lives clearly it is always more difficult to focus on ourselves. We also don't know what we don't know and sometimes we cannot grasp our own limitations as they are an integral part of the way we experience the world. A coach can challenge you in a supportive way to help you gain clarity on what may have been holding you back in your life or preventing you from getting past a certain point or reaching greater heights. Just like a top athlete needs a coach to realise their own potential, a personal coach can help you do the same!
About Dee
As part of my role in the NHS, managing staff and human resource management came as an integral part of my job. It was obvious that the interaction I had with my staff was key and I wanted to support them in the best way possible. To that end I decided to retrain with Newcastle College and gained a Diploma in Positive Impact Coaching in the Workplace. This was the catalyst to me becoming a fully trained personal coach with the largest and fastest growing 'Coaching Academy' in Britain. There I gained a Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching and a Certificate in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming).
In addition to Coaching I have a vast wealth of life experience and knowledge gained from working in the NHS for the past 16 years. Alongside coaching I work part time as a Locality Manager for the local Primary Care Trust. I am lucky enough to be regularly updating and using my skills within the NHS as well as privately. This gives me a great deal of knowledge in coaching and working in a large organisation as well as seeing individuals. Whilst my background has been in a public organisation and health, coaching principles can be used and applied across any discipline.
As well as knowledge of change management I have had training in assertiveness, presentation skills, managing priorities, programme management, facilitation, conducting appraisals, recruitment and selection, Root Cause Analysis and Neruo-Linguistic Programming.
Along with one-to-one coaching I can offer telephone consultations and can work within a group setting.
I live in the beautiful surroundings of Dartmoor with my family.
