Burrator reservoir is a local beauty spot within walking distance, surrounded by some of Devon’s finest tors.  For the less energetic, Lammergeier is the perfect base for exploring many of Dartmoor’s pretty villages and hamlets by car, including some well known tourist attractions. The local Stannary town of Tavistock is only a few miles away and the maritime City of Plymouth with many attractions including Plymouth Hoe, the Historic area of the Barbican and the National Marine Aquarium, to name a few, is within easy reach.
