Description
Forming part of the former 19th century Plymouth Inn this recently refurbished first floor self-catering accommodation sleeps up to 4-adults, is well equipped, comfortable and set in a peaceful courtyard setting. Fitted to a high standard the accommodation includes two double bedrooms, separate shower room and fully equipped kitchen with open-plan living space and views from the guests lounge over the town to Mardon Down and surrounding countryside. Guests have shared use of our private granite walled garden with benches to relax, read and to enjoy our peaceful location despite being situated in town.

We are open all-year, a non-smoking establishment, unable to take pets and have secure drying facilities for clothes/equipment.

Our central location within the small Moorland town of Moretonhampstead not only provides an excellent base for exploring the surrounding Dartmoor National Park and Devon countryside/coastline but also offers the convenience of shops, butcher/delicatessen, restaurants and pubs all within a few minutes walking distance.

If you enjoy a traditional English breakfast cooked for you the local Coffee Shop & Bakery opens at 7.00am and is only a minute's walk away. Alternatively if you prefer cooking-in then our local Butchers/Delicatessen, situated opposite, provides a wide selection of quality foods.

Moretonhampstead is surrounded by some of Britain’s most spectacular countryside and can provide everything the visitor requires for an enjoyable relaxing holiday and for exploring the beauty of the Dartmoor National Park.
