Description Open log fires, oak-beamed rooms, a vintage copper bath for two - Moorland View is made for romance. This cosy, two-bedroomed thatched cottage, dating from 1705, is in the heart of North Bovey, one of England’s prettiest and most peaceful old villages. Inside is pure luxury, with Molton Brown cosmetics, fresh flowers, scented candles and a bottle of wine all complimentary. A wireless digital music system gives access to millions of tracks, as well as your own iPod favourites, all played through cinema-quality Bose speakers. There’s also a high-definition Sky Plus television, Blu-Ray and DVD player, Apple Mac computer and free high-speed wireless broadband.  Bikes, Wellington boots and surf  boards are provided, and guests have automatic membership of nearby Bovey Castle, with its five-star gym, pool, spa and golf facilities. The views are gorgeous:  a church spire backed by woodland and a dramatic Dartmoor tor. There’s a pretty walled garden filled with old English roses, lavender and honeysuckle, and a patio with a dining table for long, lazy summer lunches. Optional extras include a private chef, in-cottage spa treatments and a delicious hamper of Devonshire goodies. We offer fixed-period stays of four nights from Mondays to Fridays, three nights from Fridays to Mondays, or weekly breaks starting on Mondays or Fridays. Due to logistical reasons, we are unable to offer more flexible stays. With regret, we do not allow children under 12,  smoking or pets.
