Description Owls Roost – is a luxurious 1 bedroom first floor apartment in a lovely old converted barn. The apartment has been designed with luxury and romance in mind and is spacious, light and comfortable.  Wonderful beams have been exposed throughout and feature in each room.  The living room has a wood burner and settee with recliners, ideal for those cosy relaxing evenings, a flat screen TV with freesat HD satellite connection, DVD player, CD/radio and Ipod dock. Wi-Fi is also available at no extra charge. The large bedroom has a king sized pine bed and plenty of storage space for clothes. Bed linen is provided free of charge. The bathroom is special with a double bath and separate shower enclosure. Towels are also provided but please bring your own towels for use on the beach. The fitted kitchen provides a cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and all the other utensils and equipment to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Owls Roost is situated on the outskirts of Tavistock, approx 2 miles from the town centre, on the edge of Dartmoor. A short walk up an adjoining bridlepath takes you directly onto Cox Tor, sitting above Tavistock, with fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. From here you can walk for miles on Dartmoor and explore the many historic sites in the locality. We are situated on cycle path 27 on the National network of cycle paths.
