Description We have three rooms, each furnished individually with a mixture of antiques and modern furniture with the aim of creating a modern country style. The twin room has an en suite shower room, with a walk in shower. One double room has an en suite that has a free standing bath big enough for two! It also has a shower above the bath, the other has an en suite shower room. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer alarm clock radio and colour television. Twin Bedded Room We serve a full English breakfast cooked on the AGA which consists of locally produced sausage and bacon, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms. There is also a choice of cereals, fresh fruit and yogurt and tea ,coffee and toast, served with a selection of home made jams and marmalade. A packed lunch can be provided for guests by prior arrangement. The Barton is close to the popular village pub, The Tors, which serves an excellent selection of traditional pub food and beers. Alternatively we are within easy driving distance of a number of very good pubs and restaurants including the award winning Dartmoor Inn at Lydford and the CAMRA Pub of the Year The Tom Cobley Tavern at Spreyton. Tables can be booked and directions provided upon request.     TARIFF Bed and Breakfast (per room, per night) 1 night stays double* - £70.00 for room (based on 2 sharing)                     twin      - £65.00 for room (based on 2 sharing) 2 nights  £65.00 double               £60.00 twin *We do not generally accept one night bookings at weekends from April-September inc, but will endeavour to accommodate one night requests if bookings allow. We offer a discount of £5.00 per room per night on stays of 3 or more nights for bookings of 2 or more persons (does not apply to single occupancies). Charge of £5.00 per stay for dogs. An additional guest bed for children can be provided at a charge of £15.00 per night. We have a cot available at no charge.
